I’m back at Perth’s favourite jazz venue, The Ellington Jazz Club, on Saturday 9 June 2012 with Chris Foster and Nick Abbey at the new trio set time of 6.00pm.

We’ll be making our debut as a trio at the club. A new lineup, but the same beguiling blend of our favourite jazz standards alongside original arrangements ranging from post punk to pop via trip hop. The collaboration promises to be a scintillating evening of jazz music with just enough indie grit.

I’ve been on something of a sabbatical for the latter half of this year, so its been a bit quiet on the website and newsletter front.

We’ll be kicking off 2012 with a bang – and where else to do that but The Ellington Jazz Club. Make a note – Saturday 21 January 2012 at 8pm – we’d love to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who came down to check out our gig on 11 August 2011 at The Ellington Jazz Club – what a great night! We debuted some new tunes – including the iconic Feeling Good which closed the second set. Other highlights for me were I Melt With You, Michael’s killer solo in If I Were a Bell, duo work with Nick Abbey on Come Back to Me and with Chris Foster on I Fall In Love Too Easily.

We’re looking forward to taking the stage at Perth’s favourite jazz venue for a fantastic night of music.
