Get excited - I know I am! We're all booked in to celebrate the release of my second album, Imaginary Grace, at The Ellington Jazz Club on 8 September 2017 . The night will showcase the album and is sure to tantalise your ears and capture your heart. Accompanied by my album collaborators, high calibre jazz musicians and all round nice guys Chris Foster (piano), Nick Abbey (double bass) and Daniel Susnjar (drums), the Fiona Lawe Davies 4 is getting ready to take you on a unique jazz journey. I can't wait to share the album with you! Mark it in your diaries and keep an eye on my Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for sneak peeks of the album and chances to win an advance copy! The University Club of UWA has been renovating - the Club Lounge and Restaurant is now ready for you, and the best part of the new look is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. You can lounge or dine but it all comes with a view of the beautiful Matilda Bay. Come and join me and Glyn McDonald on Friday 12 February 2016 - we'll be adding that certain something to your evening between 7pm and 10pm. For more information and bookings go to The University Club website.

Thanks to all those who came to the gig last Saturday - what a fun night we had! I especially revelled in our new take on one of our post punk new wave tunes, but every song was enjoyable from where I was. There were a lot of new faces in the crowd, which is great to see - I hope those who bought a cd are enjoying them! Keep an eye on the website for our next Ellington performance and in the meantime come and visit us at  Como Hotel on Friday nights or The Terrace Hotel on Saturday afternoons (see an earlier post for February dates). Or you can come with your honey to dine at Must Winebar this Friday night - we'll be playing 7pm to 10pm. Remember that you can follow me on Facebook or twitter or sign up for the mailing list from my website to keep up with the latest gig news.
