Happy new year everyone! I hope you had a glorious start to the new year, whatever you were doing. We were playing jazz at the very lovely (but very windy) Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club. The wind was more than made up for by the lovely staff and patrons and some excellent fireworks. So pretty. Our regular gigs are perfect for summer - both have opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors in a civilised manner (so, with champagne). Dates for both venues are below - I'll remind you again as the month wears on, but here's the summary. The Terrace Hotel - Saturdays 4, 11 & 25 January 2014 with Chris Foster Como Hotel - Fridays 3, 17 & 31 January in our trio lineup Enjoy the first days of 2014 - I look forward to sharing some music with you soon.

We have a new regular gig at The Como - its a fantastic relaxed Friday night jazz session in their beautiful garden with my trio. Lots of shade, a bit of birdsong inbetween songs, plenty of good food and drink - pretty much the perfect way to wind down into the weekend. We'll be playing there on 7 December and 20 December in 2013, with many more dates to follow in the new year. There's jazz every Friday between 5-8pm   - keep an eye on my website for our sessions. The Como garden If a Saturday afternoon jazz soundtrack is more your style, head down to The Terrace Hotel on Saturdays 14 and 28 December - Chris Foster and I will be bringing the music between 1pm and 4pm. You can get your high tea on or just choose from their extensive range of delicious drinks and bar food.
