The University Club of UWA has been renovating – the Club Lounge and Restaurant is now ready for you, and the best part of the new look is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. You can lounge or dine but it all comes with a view of the beautiful Matilda Bay.

Come and join me and Glyn McDonald on Friday 12 February 2016 – we’ll be adding that certain something to your evening between 7pm and 10pm.

For more information and bookings go to The University Club website.

Happy new year everyone! I hope you had a glorious start to the new year, whatever you were doing. We were playing jazz at the very lovely (but very windy) Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club. The wind was more than made up for by the lovely staff and patrons and some excellent fireworks. So pretty.

Our regular gigs are perfect for summer – both have opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors in a civilised manner (so, with champagne). Dates for both venues are below – I’ll remind you again as the month wears on, but here’s the summary.

The Terrace Hotel – Saturdays 4, 11 & 25 January 2014 with Chris Foster

Como Hotel – Fridays 3, 17 & 31 January in our trio lineup

Enjoy the first days of 2014 – I look forward to sharing some music with you soon.

The terrace at The Terrace is such a gorgeous place to be of a Saturday afternoon – trees, a bit of sunshine, an uninterrupted view of the streetscape, sultry jazz music – all this and nice people to serve you fine food and wine!

In the next month or so, Chris Foster and I will be providing the sultry jazz  on 26 October, 9 November and 16 November (Chris will be there each and every Saturday). I’ll be celebrating my birthday this week, so Saturday we’ll be breaking out the champagne for some birthday toasting – come and join us!
