How is it November already? I’ve got a Christmas cake to make, winter clothes to put away and, most importantly, some new songs to learn for our performance at The Ellington Jazz Club on Friday 5 December 2014 at 7pm.

I’ll be taking the stage with Chris Foster (piano), Nick Abbey (double bass) and Michael Perkins (drums). All three are incredible musicians, all the time, and they’ll be bringing some holiday season love to the night’s music. In amongst the Christmas cheer and jazz chops, you’ll still be able to discern that indie grit that makes the combination of the 4 of us something special.

Head to The Ellington Jazz Club website for bookings – I look forward to sharing some music love with you on the 5th.

We’re breaking out the quintet lineup for a great gig next to the Freshwater Bay Museum in Claremont on Sunday 13 April. Its billed as Soul for Seniors, but I’m guessing you don’t have to provide proof of age to attend………We’re hitting the stage for two sets from 5.30pm. There’s going to be soul food galore and we’re encouraging attendees to put their dancing shoes to good use, so dig yours out and come join us!

Tickets are free, but you must register to attend – check out the Town of Claremont website for bookings.
